Hi There, I needed to buy some newborn gifts over the last few months… some of them I sent to The Netherlands, some I was able to gift in person. But the question is always, what to buy? I think my friends and family are all stocked up on Blanket Dolls and Pocket Dolls by […]

One of the first things I did when I started making dolls, almost 10 years ago now, was sell the dolls over in Vancouver at various markets and craft fairs. And as you’ve probably heard me say before it was really the ‘food’ that made me grow. I would literally be buzzing with excitement after […]
Loved reading this and feeling the joy from your words. I am so glad you are doing this again and what fun!
Great photo montages. Hope you post about the children’s market. That sounds like it will be a blast and please share more!
I found your facebook page about a month ago and I LOVE your dolls. They are so amazing!!! I was hoping to make it down to see you at Granville Island this weekend and check them out in person… but life with two kids doesn’t always make that possible! Hoping that I’ll be able to make it out in May 🙂 Keep following your dream, it’s what makes the world a happy place!
So amazing and inspiring:) My boys love your dolls and I am so happy that you guys have been apart of there childhood too:) Thanks so much! Sarah & boys;))))
Forgot to add that Brooke is the best and you are lucky that she works for you….. So very helpful;) Thanks again, Sarah & boys:))))
Soooo jealous of those that get to go experience the wonder of Bamboletta shopping firsthand! I actually found myself pricing airfare from Illinois the other day just to see if it was in the cards for Willow and I anytime soon, lol! Sadly, it’s not, but I am so happy that you are able to have those experiences and for your customers too! <3
How wonderful! The pictures make my heart swoon for the market, we have been back on the prairies now for over a decade but my husband and I spent the first few years of our marriage in Vancouver while I was completeing my Master’s degree. Now that we have 2 girls and have become Bamboletta fans, we will have to make sure we come back to the coast to visit on a weekend when we can see you and pick up a doll in person. Blessings on these new ventures!
Just wanted to say Shae & Drew are so happy they got the chance to meet you both & see all those beautiful dolls! It was definately a “kid in the candy store” kind of experience for the girls & I♥
We can’t wait until the next market, and I’m so happy it was a great experience for you as well!
Cheers, Pam & team trouble♥
Oh we’re so coming!
Aaaah..i so wanted to come but it just didnt work out!
But, my bday is May 11th so maybe I’ll ask hubby for a day at Granville Island for my bday present =)
Hi everyone, I don’t want to call myself a kitchen princess and I have been always a little anxious to share anything that comes out of my kitchen, but brave as I was, I brought over some energy balls to the Bamboletta studio and guess what, Christina took one bite and she was hooked! Luckily everybody […]
Those look really good!
I am making these tomorrow. My son is always asking for these carob little squares I can buy at Whole Foods. This looks like a great homemade alternative.
This seems to be a great treat for scouts, to feed to me because they always have more energy than me. ha ha…
Going a road trip soon. This will make a great travel snack. YUM!
Oh i love these, make them for the kids and end up eating most of them myself!!!
The kids love to measure everything out so it’s a good lesson – then I eat them all! ha.
Sooo yummy! We substituted with a a peanut butter alternative b/c of allergies and they were delish! Thank you 🙂
Hello Friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful week 🙂 It’s been busy as always in the studio. We finally got to introduce our newest member of the Bamboletta Doll family, our ‘Sitting Friends’ in todays doll upload and Christina has been working the Granville Island market since yesterday (we miss you!) and is having a blast […]
ohhhh boy. I’d take Shauna’s scarf, Rachel’s boots, Brittany’s pants, and Sarah’s dress and have a mix-up awesome time. 🙂 I love this!!
West coast island girl fab! 🙂
Do not always comment but love reading all the new blog posts!
p.s.:Please ignore my first comment. I guess I cannot spell my own name and now it needs to wait moderation. **blush**
It’s a gorgeous day here in Bamboletta-land! Christina is away in Vancouver at our Bamboletta booth on Granville Island (you’re missed!) and us ladies have been keeping busy with stuffing, sewing, photo taking and admittedly some cupcake eating (Thank you Danica!). Shauna had the lucky pick today and she chose handsome Jake! Clothing by: Thamar and […]
Shauna, I can’t get enough of that orange-red scarf. It lights up your face. 🙂 I must ask about your earrings… they’re pretty spectacular!
Thanks, I love that scarf as well, I got it at Radway in Cowichan Bay. It is banana leaf fabric. My eldest son bought me the earrings for Christmas from the store next door to our wee retail store in Cowichan Bay. Makes them extra special <3
Zum makes wee series thats good also I like the noonoo cards because they are so cute.
