Timing…I’ve never been so busy in my life personally with a new baby (who *loves* to eat!) and an active 3 year old, new house, husband and dog (in no particular order!). All this is going on and at the same time I have never been so busy professionally. I’ve had loads of press lately […]

Sweet! Woke up this morning to an inbox full of emails about a little blurb about me in http://www.sweetspot.ca/sweetmama_vancouver.php So exciting! What I’m really happy about is that they mentioned me to be a ‘husband and wife’ team. We’ve been talking about the possiblity in a few years of John not working anymore and the […]
…and meet Jasper too, of course!
All’s well, Christina- thanks! I am enjoying your blog and love the new dolls. The Gnome is my favorite!!!
Yummy! I found this new lopi yesterday while exploring a new yarn store at the ‘Whipletree Junction’. The store is called ‘The Loom’ and it is an absolute treasure trove of wools, fleece, spinning and weaving supplies. My heart was racing and I was a bit breathless as I explored all the nooks and crannies […]
I’ve arrived home to hear this wonderful news! I cannot wait to call and come drop off food and hear more!
Lots of love to you all…love the name.
Sorry, I’m Stephanie of Chip and Stephanie – more formally known as the one with 8 kids! I’ve had 2 homebirths, one birth center, the rest hospital. I also was beginning my midwifery training but had to put it on hold due to extreme depression during pregnancy #7. Then my sweet baby had to go and have heart failure on me at 8 days old – nearly died in my arms while rushing to hospital. This is her blog: http://www.mes7.blogspot.com/ She has complex congenital heart disease but is doing well at this time.
Anyway,I’ve just been hanging around gazing at your beautiful dolls! I was wondering if you crochet a cap then attach the hair?
I’ve also been trying to copy this shirt of Amber’s (the style) for several days now: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bamboletta/480539418/in/photostream/
Your dolls are just simply wonderful! I’ve made a couple of dolls – right now I’m working on my technique.
Thanks for posting.
E.V. – hello my friend! How are you doing? I haven’t ‘spoken’ with you for a long time, I hope that you are keeping well 🙂
The Beauty of Handcrafted Just look at this quilt! I was privliged enough to have Berrie from Moondchild Studio make this glorious creation for me. I am so happy with it. I have such admiration for quilters, it’s always been something that I’ve wanted to do, just at the moment there just isn’t enough time. […]
welcome to the world beautiful jasper!!! congratulations christina and family!
lovely lovely name 🙂
That is so sad about Nip/Tuck Christie.. I’m now waiting for season 3 to be out on DVD, I can’t wait!!
Is this Stephanie of Pablo and Stephanie? Birth went super well..only pushed 5 times. A huge difference from pushing for 4 hours like the last time 🙂
congrats, don’t forget the little people… or take me on as part of your entourage to document the journey of the empire.
love ya mama!
Congratulations, Christina! Your new baby looks so sweet!
What a Week! I feel as though I’m coming out of the abyss of birth. It’s been a crazy, sleep deprived, love drunk, time warp of a week. My little Jasper is such an angel – I think I have chapped lips from kissing him so much! Thanks so much for all the emails, calls […]
Congrats on your new babe! Hope all went well – he’s simply beautiful. I saw on the news last night that the Arkansas couple just had #17! I told my husband that I so wish we could have more (we have 8). He thinks I’m smokin’ something I’m sure!
Jasper looks like he really loves the quilt. Slings are just awesome! Also, did your birth go the way you wanted it?
that is fantastic Berrie! i’m so happy that you are taking the jump.
i’m in the position now to either hire someone on to do some piece work for me or get in someone to look after the wee ones a few hours a day. i’m thinking the latter because I’m far too much of a control freak to let anyone else do my dolls. i know you can relate to that 🙂
hugs, christina
ps..lovin’ the quilt!!
WOW Christina! You are one busy woman! I truly hope things will work out you two can make dolls together for a living. Good luck!
PS: Your new baby is adorable!
