Piccolina Kits!

Hi friends!

As many of you know, every so often we have kits available on the site. I LOVE offering these kits because I have this little hope that whoever makes them will get the same feeling that I do when I make the dolls. We haven’t had as many of them available as I’d like to this past year as we have a limited amount of lady power and our focus for 2017 was on making available dolls for the site. Anyhow, Audrey and I have been mapping out our 2018 and have put more emphasis on creating and having more doll kits available for sale. The plan is that we will have a batch up each month – on a regular basis. The kits have been met with much joy, which makes me so happy, and we’ve had great feedback from them.  Look at these pics!! They just fill my heart!

So, 2018 will have more kits and more clothing available. We saw how much joy and excitement was caused by costumes and speciality items and want to bring more of that to you. Of course, still making the dolls but we will be taking creation of those back a little. Bamboletta is something that I am constantly tending and growing and flowing with – I feel so fortunate that I’m able to ebb and flow with it – balancing what my lovely doll community desires, what is best for my sewing mamas, Audrey and my family and myself. It makes what I do constantly feel fresh and exciting and I love it.

Thanks so much friends!

Christina I made my Piccolina, Joelle 2 1/2 years ago. A friend and I had a lovely day together each making one. I’m so loving all the pink purple turquoise hair I think I’m going to have to find some yarn in those colours. Joelle told me she wants a burst of colour. She’s also tired of wearing the same dress every day so I know she is excited about the possibility of some new clothes.

Wishing you and your family and bamboletta family a Christmas filled with joy, laughter, some rest and lots of love.
Jeanne xoxo

Colouring Page – Helping Hearts

I think this is my favourite colouring page so far. So much of this season is about giving and caring for our community – I wanted to create a sweet page for our little ones to colour to show one way of how people can take care of one another. To download the page click here and please make sure your printer settings are set to horizontal 🙂 .

Gnome Time – Colouring Page

You may have seen our Gnome’s we released a few weeks back – I think they were some of the cutest dolls we’ve ever made. We made up 12 and they sold in under a minute – so I take it we will make more next year 😉 Anyhow, the gnome love inspired this week’s colouring page! Click Here to download and don’t forget to change your printer settings to landscape. 🙂

Thanks so much!

Cooking Show Colouring Page

I absolutely love this page! I asked Alona to make it kind of for my son, Jasper. You see, he is OBSESSED with cooking shows – like he will watch them all day if I let him. He’s not a fan of Bobby Flay and his fav is the Junior Chef cooking shows. My mom, Italian, LOVES this and whenever Jasper is over at Nonna’s she’s got a full menu of food that they will prepare together. It’s really cute. So, this is a cooking show 🙂

To print, click HERE. I hope this works out easily! I’d love to see your completed pages, so please tag them with #bambolettalove ! Thanks so much!

Blessing Dolls 2017

Bamboletta Blessing Dolls

Hello, hello! This time of the year always makes me look back and think of things to be grateful for. My kids, my family, health and this wonderful business I’ve been so blessed to have. So Black Friday? It kinda sucks the life out of me because it seems so absolutely opposite of what this time of the year is supposed to be. That’s why I started to do the Blessing Dolls on this weekend – it’s turned into an annual thing and gives me the warm fuzzies to spread some love around like this.

So, for my new followers and Bamboletta folks , I’ll explain what I’m talking about with Blessing Dolls. Basically, I have 15 dolls that I will gift to 15 families who need some love in their lives. Families that may not be in position to be able to get a doll, an adult that’s had a hard year or whomever you may think may need some extra love in their lives. To nominate someone please send me an email at blessings@bamboletta.com and I’ll choose the families by December 1st and ship a doll to them. Do not leave a comment on here to nominate!

I’ll email the chosen on December 1st and get the shipping details then 🙂 Please note that I can not email everyone back – every time I do this I get an incredible amount of entries. I do read them all but I get a bit emotionally spent after reading them and then add on to my crazy holiday rush I sort of have to streamline my time. I hope you understand –  I don’t want anyone to get sad if I don’t reply!

I hope that we can spread around some love around and find these dolls their homes!

I want to nominate my best friend more like a sister she has had a rough year her mom was diagnosed with brain cancer 1.5 years ago she beat the cancer then other complications started to appear Christina is very close to her mom I was so blessed to have another mom in my life. In August her mom had passed away it has been a hard few months for her and her family she has 4 kids who were so close to their grandma it has been such a hard year for them all I would love for her to have one of these dolls as she would love for her youngest daughter to have this doll to remind her of her grandma who she barely got to know as she was only 1 when grandma went to heaven I would live to make my best friends wish come true

Korin Bourdo - November 24, 2017 - 12:57 pm

Hello ,

My name is Korin and I would like to nominate my friend Juliana. Her 5 year daughter B was diagnosed with Leukemia this year. She is a lover of all things girly, and I believe a doll would bring so much joy to her life right now. Between chemo, lumbar punctures, losing her hair that was never even cut, going to kindergarten for the first time and being teased by her peers, she is having a tough year and I’d love to nominate her in hopes that a doll would help make things easier.

Much love & god bless

Sarah Toscano - November 24, 2017 - 5:15 pm

I would like to nominate my son David. He loves babies more than anything. He also loves to run his fingers through their hair, he is so little, just 2, that I wish I could focus more on his wants than his needs but we truly cannot at this time. I would love to be able to foster the loving side in him at this young age so it catches on.
That would be a true blessing-

Bri Evans - November 24, 2017 - 9:24 pm

I’d like to nominate my daughter Lia, age 6. My mom, her Nana passed away in July from a two year battle with lung cancer at the age of 74. It’s been a tough few years for her. We lived 3000 miles away from my mom and would spent months apart while I tended to my mom, or months apart from her dad while she would travel with me. At 4 she spent days in the cancer hospital visiting her grandmother or tagging along on appointments. She’s having a really hard time with this loss. She talks about my mom daily and how much it hurts to lose her best friend. God bless!

June Isaak - November 25, 2017 - 4:39 pm

Dear Christina,

I am nominating my great-nephew who is pretty great by the way. 😉
He was born with SMA. He is a little miracle and brings so much joy into his parents, grandparents, relatives and friends lives. He wasn’t expected to live past the age of one. He is doing well and progressing beyond what was expected. He has his own little wheel chair which he runs himself. It is an extension of himself. He is only 2 years old. He will turn 3 in the spring. He is not able to socialize much because he is immunocompromised. I know he could/would really benefit from one of your adorable dolls.

Thank you for considering this very Bamboletta doll worthy little boy.

You can read more about him and see a picture of him on his little blog.

Emmet’s Journey

Yours truly,
Emmet’s proud great Auntie June xo

Jennifer Willis - November 26, 2017 - 10:13 am

Good morning! I absolutely love your dolls, they are precious and full of joy. I discovered them a couple years ago, and feel delightful just looking through the pictures of your new creations. I would absolutely love for my little girl to have one, as I have not been in the position to purchase her one. I have a good job, but am a single mom with 3 kids at home. There are so many deserving people I am sure, but I would be over the moon if she did get picked. Her name is Emileah, she is 3 and a half, she is the girliest girl, with blond curly hair and bright blue eyes, thank you for considering us. Jennifer
