Blessing Dolls 2017

Bamboletta Blessing Dolls

Hello, hello! This time of the year always makes me look back and think of things to be grateful for. My kids, my family, health and this wonderful business I’ve been so blessed to have. So Black Friday? It kinda sucks the life out of me because it seems so absolutely opposite of what this time of the year is supposed to be. That’s why I started to do the Blessing Dolls on this weekend – it’s turned into an annual thing and gives me the warm fuzzies to spread some love around like this.

So, for my new followers and Bamboletta folks , I’ll explain what I’m talking about with Blessing Dolls. Basically, I have 15 dolls that I will gift to 15 families who need some love in their lives. Families that may not be in position to be able to get a doll, an adult that’s had a hard year or whomever you may think may need some extra love in their lives. To nominate someone please send me an email at blessings@bamboletta.com and I’ll choose the families by December 1st and ship a doll to them. Do not leave a comment on here to nominate!

I’ll email the chosen on December 1st and get the shipping details then 🙂 Please note that I can not email everyone back – every time I do this I get an incredible amount of entries. I do read them all but I get a bit emotionally spent after reading them and then add on to my crazy holiday rush I sort of have to streamline my time. I hope you understand –  I don’t want anyone to get sad if I don’t reply!

I hope that we can spread around some love around and find these dolls their homes!

xoxo,
Christina

I nominate my daughter Bella and son Moses both have a disease that causes them both to have autism.. my job just got desolved at the hospital here in town. Bad timing.. with all the medical issues and things we could use some sunshine. We are a big family with only one income.. 2 older boys also with the sane disease and their mother who is struggling with this all.. she has lots on her plate dealing with all this and being diagnoses with the same mitochondrial disease that has no cure or treatment..
    Thanks so much

    Hello ,

My name is Korin and I would like to nominate my friend Juliana. Her 5 year daughter B was diagnosed with Leukemia this year. She is a lover of all things girly, and I believe a doll would bring so much joy to her life right now. Between chemo, lumbar punctures, losing her hair that was never even cut, going to kindergarten for the first time and being teased by her peers, she is having a tough year and I’d love to nominate her in hopes that a doll would help make things easier.

    Much love & god bless

I would like to nominate my son David. He loves babies more than anything. He also loves to run his fingers through their hair, he is so little, just 2, that I wish I could focus more on his wants than his needs but we truly cannot at this time. I would love to be able to foster the loving side in him at this young age so it catches on.
That would be a true blessing-

I’d like to nominate my daughter Lia, age 6. My mom, her Nana passed away in July from a two year battle with lung cancer at the age of 74. It’s been a tough few years for her. We lived 3000 miles away from my mom and would spent months apart while I tended to my mom, or months apart from her dad while she would travel with me. At 4 she spent days in the cancer hospital visiting her grandmother or tagging along on appointments. She’s having a really hard time with this loss. She talks about my mom daily and how much it hurts to lose her best friend. God bless!

    Dear Christina,

I am nominating my great-nephew who is pretty great by the way. 😉
He was born with SMA. He is a little miracle and brings so much joy into his parents, grandparents, relatives and friends lives. He wasn’t expected to live past the age of one. He is doing well and progressing beyond what was expected. He has his own little wheel chair which he runs himself. It is an extension of himself. He is only 2 years old. He will turn 3 in the spring. He is not able to socialize much because he is immunocompromised. I know he could/would really benefit from one of your adorable dolls.

Thank you for considering this very Bamboletta doll worthy little boy.

You can read more about him and see a picture of him on his little blog.

Emmet’s proud great Auntie June xo

Good morning! I absolutely love your dolls, they are precious and full of joy. I discovered them a couple years ago, and feel delightful just looking through the pictures of your new creations. I would absolutely love for my little girl to have one, as I have not been in the position to purchase her one. I have a good job, but am a single mom with 3 kids at home. There are so many deserving people I am sure, but I would be over the moon if she did get picked. Her name is Emileah, she is 3 and a half, she is the girliest girl, with blond curly hair and bright blue eyes, thank you for considering us. Jennifer
