Tonight I thought it would be a good time to introduce a new doll – our Snuggle Baby. This doll was created with the 1 1/2 – 3 1/2 year old in mind – so a little one that is too small for a Bamboletta but too big for the Blanket Doll. Her body is made with soft cotton velour and quilting cotton. The the inside is lined with cotton similar to what is used in pillow cases, this is to create a barrier if your child was to spill something on the doll – if that happens you simply handwash her. She is stuffed with wool (of course!) and deep inside her is a satchel of Lavender providing a soothing and calming scent. She is tonight’s Serendipity doll.
If you are interested in purchasing this sweet snuggle baby please leave a comment below (do not click on the picture and then leave a comment, just go to the end of this post and leave a comment there!) She costs $60 (USD) plus shipping and ,if you are Canadian, taxes.

The doll that will be available for purchase will be a replica of this doll. I gave this doll to Jasper this afternoon to try to get a few ‘action’ shots – so customers could see what the doll looks like with a 2 1/2 year old. He has not let go of ‘Baby’ all afternoon – it’s the sweetest thing. He’s introduced her to all his toys, tucked her in and even taken her for a ride around in his dumptruck (but then she fell out and had an ‘owie’ so she just watched). I can’t get this doll off him – so it’s his. I imagine this is what having a little girl would be like, I’d make a doll that they’d insist on keeping. The boys usually pay no attention to what I do – that’s why this was such a surprise. John just called me upstairs to see that little J has fallen asleep, using Baby as a pillow – pure sweetness…
