I often get asked to do evening uploads – I understand that in the middle of the day on Friday isn’t the best time for everyone. The noon time worked because of the time we need to spend after an upload where we print off all the invoices, print up shipping labels and generally orgaize things – it’s about 4 hours of computer work. Later uploads on Friday meant that the work spilled into my weekend or I’d spend Monday doing it which put us a day behind in shipping things. Anyhow – you really don’t need to know all this – but that’s the reason why.
I was thinking about things and we can run them differently to allow those working moms and international moms easier access to getting a doll and I’ve come up with a plan. I’m going to try something new this week – so, on Thursday night (time TBA) I will put up 20 dolls. Then on Friday I will put up the other 30 (or so) (time TBA as well). Then there will be another upload later on Friday afternoon for any dolls that got ‘stuck’ (again time TBA). Finally any dolls leftover will be put up as Serendipity over the weekend.
I think I have my google calendar worked out so I’ll get times up on there as soon as I can. Preview pictures of the Thursday night dolls will go up only a few hours before but eventually I’ll try to get those pictures up earlier – I’m going to play this by ear for a bit.
