I have a confession to make. I really dislike making doll clothing, little seams, fiddly hems, I just don’t have it in me. I also don’ t have a serger which makes things even more difficult. Don’t get me wrong.. I can do it if I have to, but I much prefer creating the dolls. For the past few months I’ve been working with Reggie from Reggie’s Dolls and she has been making my clothing. My friend Constance and I have been drafting up the patterns and Reggie has been sewing up a storm for me. This woman’s work is GORGEOUS! Serged everything, gorgeous details and each stitch in it’s perfect place. You can really tell when something is done with a lot of thought, care and love and Reggie has it all in her sewing. I am so lucky to have her with me. Reggie loves making the clothing but dislikes making dolls..we are a perfect fit! Soon she will be listing clothing on her own Etsy shop for customers to buy. She will have her own stuff and also clothing made from my patterns (both of which fit the Bamboletta’s)
My friend Constance will also have some doll clothing for sale on her Etsy shop. She also sells some kids stuff that is very cute and very Constance. Jane from Little Seedlings I see now has some doll clothing on her shop as well, she also sells these amazing juggling blocks and silk streamers.
