I’m trying to do this every day this week .. here’s some pictures from a typical Tuesday here at Bamboletta..
Rachel and I are basically glued in our seats for two days only breaking to make tea, eat and go to the bathroom. I work on getting all the faces done and she works on ‘tightening’ up the dolls that come in on Monday. All our sewing mama’s are amazing but Rachel makes the dolls even better. Anchoring stitches just those few times more .. inspecting sewing, hair, you name it and for 2 days this is all she does.
Sewing, sewing sewing .. I love curling up on the couch with the little ladies by me. As I am writing this now I have dollies in a basket in front of me waiting for faces.. essentially this is what I do for 3 days. I tend to sort of disappear for 3 days – I don’t post on Facebook a lot, my friends don’t hear from me … I am in face land! I am digging my glasses with the lights on the side!

Brandi works on the clothing upload while this is all happening .. printing up all the labels and then organizing multiple orders and then getting the clothing matched up to their orders ready for the shipping gals to pack away tomorrow. Jennie and Shauna spend all day packing up all the dolls. We then take them to the post office where , if the mail truck is late, we can get them into that day’s delivery. If not, they go on Wednesday morning.

And of course .. the sewing ladies are sewing like crazy getting all the clothing ready for Thursday’s dressing..
My tea is ready now and I’ve got an episode of the ‘Voice’ to listen too (I listen to movies and TV while doing faces) so I am ready for faces! This is fun 🙂
