Today I’ve really been feeling the doom and gloom of the tail end of our West Coast winter (so much rain!), combined with spring-time allergies and a head cold to boot! So now I’m home after a day spent shipping frocks with Brandi, Isla (my 20 mo daughter) is in bed upstairs, and now I will spend some time recharging with some inspiration via some other blogs on the internet before I hit the hay. I thought it might be fun to share a couple of my favorites with you all, because you might appreciate crafting and looking at pretty things as much as I do!
So, in no particular order, here are a couple blogs I frequent that I have bookmarked on my computer (after ours, of course!)
Craftgawker (www.craftgawker.com) a wonderful source of all things craft-related.
Apartment Therapy: Family (www.apartmenttherapy.com/family) this is a great place to go to check out really awesome kids room, and lots of kid-related craft projects, oh and some really great Ikea furniture re-purposing projects.
Design Sponge (www.designsponge.com) another great source for DIY projects and great recipes to boot!
The New Domestic (www.thenewdomestic.com) this site is hosted by a woman from Vancouver, BC who has her own little bag company called Bon Journey, but mostly she has a super sweet little family and a great eye for detail and writes about her families adventures.
Crafterholic (www.crafterholic.blogspot.ca) the title says it all! Loads of craft projects!!
Sewing Crafts @ Craft Gossip (www.sewing.craftgossip.com) an endless source of sewing tutorials!
Say Yes to Hoboken (www.sayyestohoboken.com) LOVE this site! A great source for DIY projects and all the current fashion and design trends. This mama of one has a great eye for design and her own craft tutorials are awesome and easy to follow.
Well, I think that those are a great start! Hopefully you enjoy them ๐ If any of you have some favorite sites you visit for inspiration, comment and let us know! I’m always on the lookout for things to occupy myself during nap times ๐
