I’ve been a huge fan of Living Crafts magazine for years. It feels like I’ve received a gift when one arrives in my mailbox and I always read it cover to cover. In case ย don’t know what I’m talking about ย Living Crafts is a magazine that focuses in on natural crafts. So stuff like knitting, felting, woodwork, doll making – all that good stuff made by hand and with natural materials. Anyhow, you can imagine how excited I was to be chosen as the ‘Sage of the Month’! It was a huge honour for me.ย Pardis, the Editor, was kind enough to send me some copies of that issue to include in with doll purchases. So, I will be randomly putting in a copy into 20 boxes this week!
Pardis then asked if I would like to host a giveaway on my blog. Of course! ย Living Crafts is ย giving awayย ย 5 years of Living Crafts Magazine! From Living Crafts Magazine .. because they can say it better than me!
Creating ย a handmade item does so much more for each of us than just producing a ย final product.ย It enhances the harmony of our hands, heart and mind, ย while creating joy, wonderful memories, and connecting friends and ย generations. It is our primary mission at Living Crafts to enrich ย this experience with beautiful projects our readers love to make, that ย add value to everyday life and that last, to become family heirlooms. ย Knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting, dyeing, felting, weaving, woodwork, ย basketry … Living Crafts includes something for everyone … and lots of opportunities to try something new!
ย In the past five years, Living Crafts ย has remained true to itself: a magazine that celebrates the heart and ย soul in crafts, while embracing a lifestyle of self-sustainability and ย materials that would receive Mother Earth’s approval. In each quarterly issue of Living Crafts, you’ll find the spirit in all things handmade and the joy that comes from working with the heart and the hands together. ย Each beautifully designed eighty-page ย issue contains meaningful, spiritual and moving articles and projects. ย Season after season, we come together to celebrate the glory and the ย challenges of making something with love.
LOVE Living Crafts!
