I really love putting on doll faces – I feel like this is when the dolls really come ‘alive’. Something magical happens once they get their little faces put on and they say their first ‘hello’. OMG – I really must sound a bit crazy , maybe a bit like these people! Basically I spend Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all day and night embroidering on faces. It’s a nice time – I sit with Rachel and the other gals and chit chat and have tea. It’s a LOT of faces and by Wednesday at around 1pm when I’ve got 8 or 10 left I start to go a bit stir crazy from sitting down 3 days straight. This is when I throw on the ‘up’ tunes. I thought it would be fun to share with you gals (especially my other indie rock lovin’ friends out there) my top 10 ‘fill me up’ tunes. Some of these are a tad more ‘harder’ then what we play in the shop .. the gals know what mood I’m in when these come on LOUD!

It’s incredible when some good music is on and how incredible it can make you feel! Who needs chocolate? Well, the chocolate helps too but you know what I mean …
Here’s the only music-ish picture I have .. I took this picture last weekend on a photography workshop I took. The guy was our initial model but then his son came and .. well, it is SO cute to see a father and son together!
And another picture I took this weekend while waiting for the ferry at Horseshoe Bay. I learned something called HDR photography .. so neat! Dang, I love where I live.
