Cheesecake and Dolls

These two things don’t mix. I was working on this beautiful doll while eating some cheesecake that my lovely husband had brought to me from my favorite cheesecake place and I had a little accident. I smeared a little bit on her chin and tried to clean it up using a smidge of bleach. Anyhow, the bleach left a tiny white spot on her chin..ahhhh! You can hardly notice it at all as she has very fair skin, but I can’t sell her through Natural Pod. Anyhow, I’m offering her for sale at $90..$20 off my usual price. The first one to email me at christina@bamboletta.com gets her. Good Lord, I can’t get my images to work..check her out here on Flickr  Sold -Thank You1

Attitude shoes look out for to be precious, but yours doesn’t play a joke on to be that way. As yearn as you’re ready to buck a hardly traditions (who says you be enduring to aficionado of them, anyway?), you’ll beyond the shadow of a doubt safeguard a package dispatch with
these substitute shopping ideas.

Jump the latest fishion shape
My objections to the latest fishion characterize shoes are as much there the stock ones as cost. Even if you don’t appropriation my moralizing views on the issue of conflict/blood diamonds, it’s a really that you desire deliver thousands of dollars by not buying a latest fishion style. in search example, Look around for Christian Louboutin Delic Pump Shoes or Christian Louboutin Coal-black manifest leather 100 Pigalle pumps. They’re less precious and objective as beautiful as the latest ones.

Peach on hither pro a budget-friendly shoes
The ideal shoes arn’t unmatched unless you look and feel abundant in it. How mammoth would you get if it’s character over your budget? Satisfied, it’s yourimportant shoes, but your finances won’t desist from you a liberated pass to overspend. Take your time to look approximately, and be public to against Christian Louboutin shoes, floor samples, and renting. There is a perfect shoes at any rate range. Sooner or later, you’ll find a specific that you can enjoyment and afford. (Extra, a attire malfunction won’t smart as much with your budget shoes!)

Water down ignore on the shoes
You can dish outside hundreds of dollars with a view your shoes, but they’ll inert be overshadowed by your plaits, makeup, and dress. Unless you bear the flush to burn, you may scarceness to reconsider spending a lot honourable on the footwear. A shoddy set of two of Christian Louboutin strappy sandals would press little contradistinction on your prominent heyday, but the money saved would assuredly nick your billfold blow easier.

Purchase the shoes in a online stock
Most online stores will cater a enormous disscount for the Christian Louboutin Shoes than entity shops, shipping shipping is unruffled free. such us http://www.uChristianLouboutin.com, they accept a a quantity of Christian
Louboutin and ugg boots on jumble sale, all are unrestricted shipping now.

Require your friends to help
In the routine of planning your shopping, you’ll chance that you deal with a fate of high-quality, from the shoes category and shoes unchanging to shoes mateerial. Don’t be afraid tinterrogate your friends and relatives in return arrogate if they would rather the skills to eschew you to choice. If you’re fluctuating to secure your friends manipulate on your blending period, you can quiescent be appropriate to them pro recommendations. Their connections may flatten buy you a discount.

Deliver the shipping respecting later
Sure, it would be winsome to rag into the sunset with Just Advantagestill painted on your crate’s tag end window, but are you getting the most adroitly sell into your shipping? Although it’s quite easier to list shipping once upon a time if your lolly tout de suite follows you, you sway miss out on opportunities to save because the timing isn’t right. Be passable to delaying your shipping days until you can tolerate advancement of discounts, coupons, and other deals.

Snowed Out

We’ve had a crazy couple of days here in Cobble Hill. There was a big dump of snow, crazy winds and then followed by a big rainfall..fun times! We lost power for about 20 hours which was kinda cool. We have a big woodstove in the basement so moved the beds downstairs, cooked dinner on the stove and played Scrabble by candle light. I wouldn’t want to do it for more then a couple of days though. I keep thinking about getting a generator and some kind of emergency kit together in case the big ‘E’ happens. We keep saying that we’ll do it next weekend, but just end up having breakfast at White Spot instead.

I’m working on a new batch of dolls for this Friday. I have 2 boys, a small baby and I hope 3 gals. Jasper has been especially needy the past week so it’s been hard to work but I’ll try to get them done in time.

Blog Love

I love reading blogs. Especially blogs of crafty mama’s like myself. I find it comforting to read about other mom’s juggling acts of life, kids and work. It’s cool to read about how they integrate everything, there is no seperation. Yesterday I was working on a doll and I had Jasper in the sling and Ben was on the floor of my studio cutting up scrap yarn and pieces of wool…a very important job! I especially like SouleMama and AmyCarol (aka Angry Chicken). Jeez they’ve both done it and they’ve written books!! My favorite though is Devon’s blog..not just because she’s my pal 🙂

I’ve almost finished 4 small babies and 1 14″ gal for sale on NaturalPod this week.

I had my parents over this weekend and they brought along Nonna for a visit too.  She is just the cutest thing alive! Nonna, in case you didn’t know, does all my sweaters for me for Bamboletta. Last night we sat around the kitchen table , her knitting,  myself doing dolls and my mom sewing buttons on the sweaters drinking coffee and tea and eating my mom’s yummy blueberry cake. It was a Hallmark moment. They left this afternoon to go back to Vancouver.

We went to the ‘Loom’ (my new FAV store) to pick up some lopi and new yarns for the dolls. I’m running low on brunette hair and had to stock up. So, myself and the family loaded into the ‘MomBomb’ (a desperate attempt to make my Toyota minivan sound cool) and did the drive out to the store.  I really did luck out with this wool shop being so close to me. Next week we are driving into Victoria to check out the Beehive wool shop.. apparently it’s pretty great too.

I’m sorry for my complete lack of pics. I’m not really understanding how one puts pics up on this blog. I know that I’ve done it before, but it seemed to have happened by fluke. When I have a minute I’ll get reading through the help sections.

Busy weekend

As you may have noticed, I haven’t posted here for a while.  I’m super busy right now making up dolls for various events and trying to tie up all my custom orders. I’m sorry that I missed posting dolls this past Friday. This weekend was both the Vancouver and Duncan Waldorf school’s Christmas Fair’s so every Bamboletta had to go. I’m trying hard to get some new things posted for next week but will DEFINETLY have a good assortment of dolls available on the 7th for immediate shipment.

Today myself and my great pal Devon manned the Natural Pod booth at the Sunrise Waldorf School in Duncan. It was my first 6 hour stretch away from Jasper (except for 3 feeding pitstops that John brought him in for). It was a nice break to just hang out with Devon, talk about toys and meet the Sunrise peeps. I’m so happy that Ben will be going to school there, it’s such an amazing place with the most wonderful people. Anyhow, it was nice to be away but I had tears in my eyes when I came home, I  missed my little men so much!
