We get the best emails and presents come through the mail from customers expressing their love of their dolls and appreciation – it’s just the best. I wanted to send out a big thank you for all of you that take the time to do so. We have quite the rhythm here at Bamboletta to make sure dolls find homes each week. The stuffing of the bodies week after week, the winding of the hair, the endless stitching by hand and machine. And the FB pictures, the notes, etc they really give us a sense of purpose and pride in what we are doing. Not to mention all those cutie cute pictures fill our hearts with such love!
The past month has been very hectic for me personally. I had to do a bunch of business stuff and then caught a nasty flu. As soon as I got better, Benjamin got it and as soon as he got better, Jasper got it. Oye. Lots of sick, feverish and sniffly kids in my land. So trying to balance keeping things running at work while taking care of my little men was a bit tough these past few weeks. Thank goodness for my gals taking care of things at the studio .. Brandi bringing me bins of dolls to embroider at home. Anyhow, I am sorry if I’ve missed your email or haven’t commented on Facebook as much – I hate missing that kind of stuff!

Oh – and – slowly, slowly the Little Buddy doll ‘count’ is going up each week. We had an issue with finding the right size tubing and then John .. my lovely John, husband and head maker, sort of ‘forgot’ that he had to make them each week. I like to stay out of head making .. letting him and Brandi deal with things (better on the marriage this way!) Anyhow – we are back in action now. It really is getting to the point that John can’t work at his ‘real’ job anymore – we aren’t ready yet to do that financially but that man works SO much!
