I wanted to blog a big HUGE thank you to all of the lovelies that participated in the Molly Campbell fundraiser – whoa – did that ever go amazingly well 🙂 All the talented crafters and makers that donated goods and the generous buyers and people who donated  – each transaction .. from donating an item to looking at the listings was what I consider a prayer for  little Molly. The little lady is starting round two of her chemo – her counts are up and she’s doing well .. I’m going to Vancouver to meet up with Molly’s dad to give him the cheque (we raised over $23,000 dollars!) some dolls and a few other goodies – can’t wait! I’ll be sure to blog about it when I get back.

Do these gals look familiar? This photo is used for our ‘How to Care For’ instructions – these are the MJ model dolls .. all of whom now have good homes!

On the doll end of things we will be having a doll clothing upload this upcoming week – probably on Thursday. This is going to be a very special clothing upload as we’ll have a few pieces made with Matilda Jane fabrics from the House of Clouds collection. Way back in September Denise emailed me asking about getting some dolls  to use as props which of course I said ‘YES!!’ too – Denise is someone I totally admire – I spent days reading her blog .. I can’t tell you how comforting it is to read. Denise years ago is where I’m at right now – neat to see people go through the same sorts of things and she’s continued to grow with her big, giving heart in the middle of it all  – I love it. She’s really one of the nicest people around – did you see what she donated to the Molly auction – holy smokes!!  So – since then I’ve gotten a few boxes of MJ scrap fabrics and ,last month, a big box of House of Cloud samples to cut up. But – before I cut them up I could not resist dressing Jasper up in a little MJ .. poor kid … there was some serious cookie bribing going on to get these pictures .. sigh, I need a little girl..

So – some of this … has been turned into this!

It’s been hard to cut all those clothes up but SO much fun seeing what doll clothing comes out of it. The green stripes used to be pant bottoms and the ruffle dress – shorts! The floral number there is from the dress Jasper was wearing.

Have I mentioned lately how much I love my ‘job’ ..

LOL Jasper is such a pretty girl 😉 I did the same thing with my son Devin before having Evie…six 1/2 years later! You and Denise have something in common, a HUGE giving heart of gold. I am so amazed by the generosity of everyone and so happy to hear that our prayers are working miracles for Molly. She is in my thoughts and heart every day. Thanks so much for organizing the auction. It is truly a blessing to her family to have someone like you in their lives.

It is so amazing how much was raised for baby Molly. She is always in my prayers. Love the new outfits and hopefully I’ll be able to score one. You definitely need a girl 😉

C – first of all it makes my heart overflow with joy to see your compassion and generosity for people in need. I love that you give back so much (and I think we don’t even know the half of the wonderful things you do!) Your heart is so big and I’m so happy (and proud) to support an amazing company that is made up of humans with BIG hearts!

Darling outfits and even moreso that cute little boy. 🙂 Look forward to seeing them online! And congratulations on your wildly successful auction. Amazing what a group of women can do! So sad Molly and her family need it – but great that you can ease their burden a bit.

My son wore a hula skirt for a year when he was about three…he won’t admit it now. I love the cute MJ clothes. I’m so happy Molly is doing good and I can’t wait to hear what happens when you give the check to Molly’s dad.
