I have been blessed today to be able to attend my great friend Tracey’s birth. This was my very first birth – on the other side – that I’ve ever been to. What an incredible and amazing experience, I’m still buzzing from it. Constance was there […]

I have an amazing customer service story to share. My skin has been feeling really dull and icky lately – I’m guilty of falling asleep while feeding Jasper before I can get to the bathroom and wash my face.I’ve been a long time fan of Kiehl’s , using there skin care for over 5 […]

I like the little bird tank top. You have doll children all over the world!
Too bad they don’t all keep in touch as well as Lucy.
Great post, so positive and nice. I love Kiehl’s, but it’s so expensive here. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the felting and then turning it into a doll!

You need to make sure that you moisturize your skin so that your chances for wrinkles are lower at a young age. As we get older you will definitely get wrinkles. The only thing that we can do is to try and slow down the process and minimize the damage.
Part six of the continuing adventure of Lucy in Guatemala. Lucy is with Heather from Project Somos – a project that is building a children’s village for orphaned and abandoned children. As I write this in my outdoor “office”, my computer has a pink hue on the keyboard. Dusk is settling in and […]
I wouldn’t mind bathing in all that delicious food like Lucity is! I look forward to seeing the land they choose (or will the land choose them), I’m also glad to see that it isn’t just my children that like to play at the electrical outlet..
Con, I think the land has chosen us. Oh my!Just working on this weeks’ blog update with Lucita’s visits to the land! Heather
My poor, poor web designer over at Aeolidia has got to be going absolutely batty over me right now. I’m being so wishy washy about my new site that I’m even getting annoyed at myself. It’s like when you are pregnant and have the names picked out – you mistakenly tell everyone hence get everyone’s […]
I hear you there, mama! I paid big bucks for my jeans and they haven’t seen my rear in a while! I’m on board with the diet… Let’ go!
I just (yesterday) bought myself the Jillian Michael’s 30 Day Shred – and I let my husband see it. I have no excuse now.
glad to hear baby j is liking that snow suit! and look at those curls!!!
you’re a hot mama already, lady, don’t doubt that for a sec!
xx
Your boys are so handsome! And the difference between my fearless, foolhardy Jasper and his contemplative big sister are pretty vast, too. And I am also totally with you on the 19-months-post-partum-means-it’s-not-the-baby-weight-anymore track, too. Gotta get going on that one…
I love the first pic of B so much! It’s like a glimpse of future him, when he is a teen. E just lost his front tooth today and I feel like my baby is really on the road of growing up now. boo hoo. As Erin said – you are one stylish hip hot mama, my friend. But I’d love it if you wanted to join me at the gym:-)
I desperately wish the East Coast looked as spring-like as the West Coast does. So cold and rainy here!
Those mama pounds are tough to lose but its helped me to just eat off a lunch plate and no seconds.
O, I hear you, Christina! I felt exactly the same when my daughter was about one-and-a-half years old. She’s turning two this week, and my diet worked! I’m back at my before-pregnancy weight. Before TWO pregnancies weight, that is. I am very proud of myself! And let me tell you – the first few weeks will be hell, but after that, it gets easier, and you will feel SO much better after! Good luck! You can do it! 🙂
Two posts in one day, I know. You may have seen this already, it’s doing the internet rounds – but in case you have it please watch ‘Kittens Inspired by Kittens’ . This is so funny and a brilliant reminder of how incredible kids are. I love the random-ness of it all. My favorite line […]
Funny…my husband sent me this link this week and told me that he expected this to be our daughter at age 6. It’s precious…you know this little one is empowered to be exactly who she is. I find myself saying the “I’m her mom” line a couple times in bed and giggling myself to sleep.
No. She’s. Not! LOL, I keep running that through my head laughing.
She is one of the reasons why I want to try for a girl. I love sassy girls like this 🙂
You want to try for a little girl….?I guess we’ll have to talk later:)
Love You,
Hubby
My own six year old daughter just insisted on watching it three times in a row…it made the rest of us lol too. I liked where she instructed the camera to focus on the feet of the “peeing” kitty.
Or Roseanne that is so funny.. the pssss sound!! BTW I have your doll ready, just need to make her a dress 🙂
Okay I have watched that like 6 times and made my husband watch it too, thanks for the link!
I think we have the same favorite line. My second favorite is, “I want beef jerky!”
I LoVe it! I don’t mind the “chicka bow” line either
That is a good line CanCan 🙂 I don’t know why this video is so ‘sticky’ – I can’t stop watching it – she is just the cutest thing ever! ‘I’m a magician!’
The Chicka Bow line is pretty good too Con!
Ha ha ha ha ha…
I can’t get enough!
😉 Thanks.
What better excuse for lack of upload can there possibly be? I’ve never been to a birth myself (other than my own), I bet it was amazing. 🙂
Awwwwwwwww. Congrats to mom, daddy, and baby!
Best Day ever!!
sooo cute!
Aww, so darling! I want another one toooo!

Aww, so sweet! I attended both my nephew’s and my niece’s birth, and there honestly isn’t a more powerful experience out there!
i’m so jealous.
and deliriously, delightfully happy too!
sounds like an absolutely beautiful first birth to attend. it’s so good to share the experience. lucky you.
I can’t wait to be on the other end of a birthing experience. I have been on the birthing side five times, I would love to be outside of the “intense” side and onto the “magic of the moment” side! Congrats to the parents!
